“The whole experience was a once in a lifetime experience. The condition of the lodging took us by surprise (no AC, little electricity, not very clean), but I think it is the best they can do in the jungle. Our guide Say was amazing and made the experience. He was very knowledgeable about everything in the jungle and also very friendly and caring. Would very much recommend for anyone that wants to connect with nature and doesn’t mind a little heat and dirt.”

“First off, I do want to say that this is not a private tour, but a group tour. Our tour guide Rene was very friendly and knowledgeable, and everyone really enjoyed him. Monkey Island was amazing to see, as were the dolphins. I think we were quoted a more expensive price for the butterfly habitat than is normal when the woman taking the entrance fee was trying to give us change back, but our guide is telling her no.”

No power or water or internet most times. The food was ok, but not really enough for everyone there. Not a real jungle adventure.”

“We had an incredible time with the Maniti tour group. Our tour guide, Alfredo, was incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. He had many insights about everything we visited and we got to see the Amazon rainforest through the eyes of a local because of him - he really felt more like a friend than a tour guide. Everything was very well planned out and easy to navigate. We left our suitcases at the pickup point, rode mototaxis to the port, then took a boat to the lodges. “Really enjoyed the Adventure Hike, lots of pros with only a few cons, see below breakdown of the 4 days (I travelled early June 2024), some tips and a packing list of what to take. Day 1, Bike and Raft: Bike was great fun, very easy/beginner friendly as mostly downhill but get to pick up some speed while catching the views. Rafting was excellent with a few decent rapids. Accommodation was terrible, very basic shared hostel with only cold water shower (not ideal after rafting), food was average but didn't go hungry.
