“Most of this tour was spent bumping around in Cusco traffic. We went to another hotel on the other side of town presumably to pick up other passengers - they were presumably no shows but there was no explanation. After a brief tour of the markets we navigated back to the same hotel to pick up a couple who by now were presumably an hour late in a 3 hour tour - again no explanations or apologies or introductions. More traffic - a few stops and ended up back within 50 meters of our hotel to start the walking component. At no stage did the guide outline the itinerary or…”

“I felt the description was not really accurate. It says city tour and Saqsaywaman. The city tour was really a tour of a large Catholic Church and a smaller church built on Incan foundations. We then got on the bus and drove to four Incan sites above the city. We were also looking for more science based information on why the Incan walls were earthquake proof and how did they know to do this. The answers we got were less than satisfactory. Overall this tour was good, but not quite what we expected or were really looking for.”

“Hyame was excellent as a tour leader. We only had a few hours in Cusco before heading off to do the Macchu Picchu trek. This was a great tour to get a glimpse of some sites that were too far to walk to, especially when needing to adjust to the high altitude. Her English was good and responded to questions well. I was well-pleased with this last minute booking and would have missed out on many Cusco treasures without booking it.”
