One gate, half a dozen ways through it. Below, every Machu Picchu tour with what it actually includes: which leave Cusco early enough to catch the first buses up from Aguas Calientes, which use the Vistadome and which the Expedition train, which build in a Huayna Picchu or Huchuy Picchu ticket, and what a guide at the site adds that a signboard does not.

Hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu for sunrise and sunset, sleep in Aguas Calientes, then ride the Vistadome panoramic train back.

“Our guides were literally the best! We couldn’t have asked for better! The only thing we would recommend to improve on. My husband and I train tickets were not seats next to eachother and the whole group was on different trains on the ride back. The bag drop off and transportation back to our hotels process could improve. There was a lot of waiting around and extra steps that seems could be done more streamlined and organized especially when participants are tired and ready to go back to their hotels. Thank you!!”

“Knowledgeable guide. Spectacular views best I've seen in my life. The guide new exactly what vantage points to take us to. The pick up person provided an envelope with all our tickets and explained everything very well. The train ride was terrible. There was a strong odor of gas all the passengers in our car were feeling ill our eyes were burning that we could barely open them. On the way back the train was almost 3 hours late. All the locals were shocked this happened so I would highly recommend this trip as we believe the train break down was an anomaly. This was a trip of a lifetime.”
